If you count yourself among the many loyal customers who have propelled DeWalt to the forefront of tool brands in the US, then you’ll want to stay tuned for what’s on the horizon. DeWalt continuously releases new products throughout the year, including several noteworthy launches scheduled for March 2026. This spring, a selection of impressive tools extending across the XR and Atomic 20V Max platforms, as well as the ToughSystem, will be unveiled. There’s definitely something here for both professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts.
It’s essential to note that these releases differ from the other DeWalt products previously hinted at for 2026 back in December, as well as the new lineup revealed in January 2026. The following three products are newly announced and promising in their own distinct ways. Keep an eye out for these tools as they become available both online and in stores throughout March 2026.
20V Max XR Brushless Sealed Head Ratchet (1/4-inch and 3/8-inch)
This March, DeWalt is introducing the 20V Max XR Brushless Sealed Head Ratchet, which serves as a versatile three-in-one tool, allowing users to easily switch among a 3/8-inch square drive, a 1/4-inch square drive, and a 1/4-inch low-profile hex anvil setup. Whether you’re working in automotive, mechanical, or construction settings, this ratchet is designed to meet your needs without the hassle of changing ratchets for various tasks.
Powered by the 20V Max XR platform, this brushless cordless ratchet achieves up to 450 RPM and delivers a maximum torque of 50 foot-pounds. Additional features include a safety trigger lock to prevent accidental activation during transport and a built-in LED light for enhanced visibility in dimly lit or cramped workspaces. Keep in mind that the battery and charger are sold separately, but they will integrate seamlessly if you already own other tools from the 20V Max series.
Atomic 20V Max Brushless Cordless 1/4-inch Ratchet
If your work often involves navigating tight spaces, the new Atomic 20V Max Brushless Cordless 1/4-inch Ratchet might become your ideal tool, especially considering the extended reach version launching this month. This ratchet is designed to prioritize compactness and is lightweight, making it perfect for cramped locations. While it produces up to 250 RPM without load and offers a maximum torque of 45 foot-pounds—slightly less than the sealed head model—it still has sufficient power to tackle even the toughest fasteners.
Equipped with a variable speed trigger, this tool allows you to regulate the spinning speed, while the forward and reverse switch enables effortless direction changes without needing to reposition the ratchet. Additionally, similar to the XR model, this tool features a safety trigger lock to guard against unintentional activations.
ToughSeries Construction Jack Extension
If ratchets aren’t what you need, DeWalt has another tool launch geared toward professionals who frequently tackle construction tasks: the ToughSeries Construction Jack Extension. This new accessory is designed to be used alongside the ToughSeries Construction Jack, facilitating the lifting and positioning of heavy projects with ease.
This extension increases the jack’s maximum lifting range to an impressive 27 inches and supports a combined lifting capacity of up to 340 pounds—perfect for larger and more complex tasks. Its non-marring pad ensures that even delicate surfaces remain unscathed during lifting, making it suitable for supporting cabinetry and other susceptible materials. Although listed as “coming soon” on DeWalt’s official site, it is currently purchasable through various retailers, such as The Power Tool Store, with shipping set to commence in April.
